Strange noise

Love my new truck...but it makes a short grinding noise every time I turn it off..im sure its nothing to worry about .just wandering if anyone else noticed it

I believe its the smog purge valve release - Normal.

Smog pump shutting down.

Most people complain about the sound from the smog pump shutting down, I don't know why, but,I kinda like it!

It is the smog pump. Our 2013 does it every time you turn it off also
