Tacoma letters on doors

Anyone replace these with different colors? I would like to get red letters to replace the chrome letters and haven’t found anything online.

Someone mentioned taking them off and painting or dipping them but not sure how easy it would be peeling them off. Anyone done this before?IMG_1694.JPG

If you remove them you won’t be able to just put them back on. They don’t come off like that. Plasti dip while they are on. Tape them off the best you can put thin coat after coat, usually 5-8 coats works well. Take a tooth pick or small plastic tool to remove the over spray from the door being careful not to pull it off the lettering.

Agreed.
You can also buy the OEM or aftermarket colored emblems and just replace them. Here’s a link.
