They had already been throwing a lot of stuff at it back stage and even that ball at it once before. It took a lot of impacts before it actually broke like that. Any other vehicle widow that ball would have went threw it not just impacted it. The body can stop small cal. bullets. It looks like and acts like a civilian military vehicle.
