I posted a few days ago about my once or twice a year hauling needs (pics attached). Test drove a Tundra because I thought a bigger truck would be the solution. It feels 10x bigger than a Tacoma and reminds me of a Hummer H2 interior.
Driving big Tacoma in town for 11-1/2 months of the year for the 2 weeks I have to haul my firewood loads would be a hassle. Very hard in all the parking garages I’m constantly in and not near as much fun to drive as a Tacoma.
I think I’d rather just get some adjustable airbags for the rear of Tacoma. The bed full of wood and trailer completely bottom out the leafs, even though the entire load is sub 3,500lbs. The trailer is very tongue heavy.
Now to decide on a 2014-2015 Gen2 vs a 2017-2018 Gen 3
