Transmission solenoid

2002 taco throwing a code “P0770 shift solenoid E fault”. I’m going to drop the pan to change the solenoid but from my understanding this solenoid is the TC lock and the others two are for 1st 2nd shift and 3rd 4th shift. Should I just replace all of them while i have the pan off?

On the other hand.....if $$$ are a little tight, just do the one. Although, don't be surprised if another fails in a short time forcing to repair again.
Its a dice roll. Kinda like rolling a 7 on a 20 sided dice in a single roll.......it can happen.

Never had a solenoid in my 2001 tundra auto fail, or had to pull the pan for any reason. Just did the 4 qt drain, and refill with dexron 3 every 15k miles. That was one tough truck.

Another question is what one is E. When I look them up they all say 1 2 or 3
