Got this $100 off.
I thought i read it was 200lbs the other day.... box says 268 tho.
Home depot guys loaded it, and i was unsure how id unload it. Figured id call a few ppl and just leave it in my bed for awhile.
Then i got home and realized i had a factory pulley system on my truck.
I put a cleat/anchor point on each side of the side rails as far back as possible, put a ratcheting tie down on 1 side and a regular tiedown on the other side..I hooked them in the middle.
The rubber bedmat was out of the truck and sitting on the garage floor as a buffer.
I pulled the box as far as i could slide it (easy since the bed is slick), then adjusted the tiedowns.
I used the unlatch function of the ratcheting strap to lower the toolbox like a pulley..simple, easy, effective.
It needed to be on a side for caster installation anyhow.
