Walmart value battery?

this ones got a 12 month full warranty if it meets the criteria of being a dead battery, i kind of rolled the dice a little on this batt. cause money is tight to spend too much on a 11 year old truck, if i get 3 years out of it i'll be satisfied.
3-4 years is about average for most batteries here in Florida!

Heat is the number one issue that kills these batteries. Here in new england batteries can last 10 years. The original battery in my tacoma is 5 1/2 years old if you go by the trucks date of manufacture.

I remember when I lived in Haverhill Ma. Where I grew up and lived that also. Last atleast 8 to 12 years every battery. Moved to FL. In 2003 and they last 3 years mostly 5 at the most. Now I am trying a Diehard AGM Iput in 2 months ago and others have said these will last longer, I hope so!

I am looking at getting a Toyota trueStart battry for the gen2 on the upcoming black Friday sales
Approximate cost could be less than 150$ for genuine battry
Will have to travel to pick up though they don't shop batteries UPS

Haven't heard great reviews on those toyota truestart batteries, with many only lasting 3-6 years since being made by clarios. I wouldn't screw around.... just buy a deka from east penn.

All batteries are pro-rated that I know of. Only the original new truck, or car warranty itself can cover a new battery replacement.
Try Car Quest Auto Parts for deka. Buddy of mine I use race bikes with got me started with deka, He manages a car quest store.
