My truck suddenly making this noise when I turned it on today. It kinda sounds like I have a supercharger. I'm thinking it's power steering but I'm not sure, I recently just had the power steering fluid changed .
This problem has happened in the past, but the noise usually goes away on its own... I'm just wondering what's causing the noiseYou can remove the belt and see if it still does it.

It does change the pitch when I turn the wheel. My friend said it's probably just dirt on the belt or something lol, i don't completely believe him thoughTurn the wheel side to side and see of it changes in pitch.

Not at all. Wheel turns very smoothly. Only thing I hear is a noise. My buddy checked it out and said it's defiantly not transmission noise (thank god), but power steering fluid is fresh. If it ain't broken I'll just leave it, unless you guys recommend otherwise.Does the wheel seem stiff or harder to turn than it should?
