What kind of Tacoma is it?

Hey Y'all. Got a question for ya. When I bought my 2016 Tacoma it was advertised as a TRD. It has the SR5 bling on the rear doors and it's definitely not a sport. So with this being my first Taco, my question is - do I have an TRD SR5? Is there such a beast?

Any TRD package is on top of the SR5. My truck is a TRD offroad but it says SR5 on the tailgate.

If you have the 120 volt plug in the bed, it's a TRD.

No 120V in the bed, but that only comes in the Offroad package doesn't it? Mines definitely not an Offroad. It's a 2WD. I do have the V6 with two package. Don't k ow if it makes a diff.

Offroad is 2wd or 4wd. The bed outlet comes in both TRD packages but not sure about the Limited.

So if you don't have it, you don't have a TRD.

I shopped around before I bought this one. It's a 2016 with 31k miles. I paid $24,000. That was average for SR5s within 100 miles.

Yeah. Like @whippersnapper02 and @Bojangles said, TRD package is on top of the SR5. On the gen threes (2016 and up) they don’t even brand the SR5 on the TRD models now like they did in the previous generations of the truck.
