Like @OR17TRD and @whippersnapper02 are saying, there’s a risk of failure.
Basically it’s adding a potentially unsafe variable to your vehicle that could cause a catastrophic failure leading to loss of control. Which could lead to you wrecking your vehicle or worse, hurting yourself or someone else.
The odds of failure aren’t through the roof with routine maintenance but that’s a decision you have to make.
We try to give you the safest, best advice possible on this forum. Most of it is learned through trial and error of our own or from others we have witnessed.
