Tryingto sell a 1993 sr5 ext bed v6 with 126k miles in excellent condition. Posted on craigslist, offerup and facebook but am getting trolled hard by scammers. anyone know of a better and safer way to sell my truck and actually get what its worth? thought about putting on the street but it would likely get stolen.

I had the exact blue sr5 truck back in the day that came with no AC. It sat in a dealers yard as a leftover. I made several offers for $9k back in 1994, till they finally accepted it, seeing how long the truck was sitting in their lot. Truck was a 3.0 v6 auto. In 2001 I tried to sell it myself, but had no luck, everyone wanted a vehicle with AC. Finally I sold it a couple months later to a used car dealer for 8k that strangely wanted it bad.

Well, keep screening or look to someone like CarMax, Carvanna or similar.

You've advertised, so the scammers are like cockroaches in the dark. They all come out. Just keep shinning a light on 'em.

Remember, AS IS sale and CASH. Write a Bill of Sale stating date, vehicle details (VIN is good), price and AS IS, No Warranty with seller's and buyer's signature. Copies for you and buyer.

This simple step will protect you in case the buyer wants to get nasty on the sale.

is that what you traded in on for that Tundra?
how many miles did you get out of that '93 or '94

i got about 24k miles out of that '95 bright blue single cab 4wd 4bangar ALSO with NO A/C lol

My 93 was an sr5 xtra cab model. I actually was able to buy it in 94. I ended up advertising it in the bargain news back around 2001, and sold it to this used car dealership about 50 miles away from me. I had already bought a tundra a few weeks before.

No. After 30 years...I'm lucky to still remember that truck. I think it turned just over 150k miles when I sold it. They did a recall just before I sold it installing new head gaskets at no charge.
