One of the local dealers had a 2018 TRD Off-road, with a manual, sitting on their lot the other day. Ended up driving it home. It's my first 'Taco', and is replacing my 96 T-100 SR5 4x4. Got a pretty decent deal on it I think, should serve me well.

It'll have a few purposes in life, such as driving during the winter to keep salty road miles down on my other car. General hauling duties, and camping/mountain trips.

Anyways, Thanks for letting me hang out and see what's what!

So you were downtown, had some time on your hands, a couple coins in yer pocket & decided "What the hell, guess I'll buy a new truck." Nice... & welcome to forum...

Haha, not quite. I had been digging around test driving different models to see what was what. The Toyota dealer happened to be my last one to check, and to my surprise, had the manual truck sitting there. They worked up a decent deal I think, so I went for it.

I wouldn't have minded one of the Chevy Colorados with the duramax in it, but man are those expensive. I think the manual makes up for that though.

Yeah I kinda like the Colorado, if it can hang around a few more years it's going to surprise some people with what it can do...
