Tires size

I like the Toyo Open Country AT. They do great in all conditions, especially the snow. I sold my stock tires and rims on Craigslist.

265/75 16?

No lift...and 265/70r16. I love in the south....but am from New England. Last winter I went home they did great in the snow! I will be doing a lift shortly...and will be buying these in a bigger size....whenever I figure out what size that's gonna be lol

265-70-17 on 17x9 .
4.53 .Backspace offset -12.
Level 8 MK6. Wheels rub just a little on lower valance already trimmed with utility knife. No problem with mud guards. 17x8 might not stick out as far . no lift yet

0 or -6 offset you’d have no rubbing. -12 is just a little low for these trucks. There is a sweet spot for sure. Also an alignment can help put it in a good spot.

I like the looks of the 285/75/16, I know for a fact that the fox shocks have a 2.5 lift from factory. On my trd pro, I wonder if I can run this size, wonder how much of a rub will I get or what can I do to fit them.any take my taco friends.

The pro is only 1 inch higher in the front than the trd off road...the wheels are like +13 offset if i recall. 285s will rub like crazy

Alright second question. If I run slightly larger tires before getting a lift will tss have issues? Anyone else do that yet on the 18s & 19s?

You’d only be going up about an inch. 265/70 to 265/75 on 16’s it shouldn’t effect the TSS-P until you start going over 3” of lift with larger tires or take the rake out and go bro lean.
