I'm pretty sure this is some gimmick, but has anyone actually used one of these? Never heard of it before, and want to know exactly how it works. Is it worth getting, or just some money grabbing gimmick?

I haven’t used this brand nor have I put one on the Taco yet but these do work. This one is strictly throttle control. I don’t know about all of the Tacomas but mine has pretty serious throttle lag. These controllers improve throttle response so the engine response more closely matches your foot. Doesn’t add HP or anything but will seem like it if it works like others I’ve used.

I’d like to find a tuner to change up the trans shift points. Mine is all over the place from 4th to 6th on the highway... drives me nuts...
