Just put a Bakflip G2 on my tacoma. Had one on my tundra- they give you the benefits of a hardcover but allow you to use the entire bed if necessary. Had to switch out latch so I could secure it with a lock. Used Pop and Lock- was beyond easy.

Yeah- the only place a little water might get in is sides of tailgate, but even that is minimal.

Not really. I like the bakflip G2. I have a rugged cover trifold. Bought it when I had my 09'. Transferred it to my 12'. I paid under $300 with shipping. But it's time for a new one that's a little more low profile.

The G4 will open front AND back, When open it does not block visibility at all, seals pretty darn well (no puddles - only drip trails on bed walls) and removes with 4 thumb screws in seconds. Lock is positive and does not require pulling wires to open it. I do not lock it to the tailgate (possible) but rather have a Pop-n-Lock wired to my electric door locks.
