I would rather buy these than spend 300+ on running boards.

I bought my Tacoma off craigslist too. Lol stay out of the transvestite section and u should be ok..
Haha. Thanks for the advice. Seems like your speaking from experience! Lol
Your GoFundMe snorkel money better not go to that part of Craigslist.
Running boards, step tubes or sliders it depends on what are looking for. Remember you will get what you pay for in the end. They all might look good but each serves a different purpose!
Like the way they look just that part of the bed I guess my OCD is bad
No coverage for a LB. It’s that extra 12.07938”
I know there's not that many optikns out there. Other than a few and of course rock sliders
I liked the tyger too
Have you slid on these yet?
I haven’t. Those are what I’ve been looking at. I still have the predator side steps that came on mine.
I picked up a set of Tyger 4" for my 2016 on Amazon for $150. I think they look great! But shop around and look at lots of photos and find the ones that really trip your trigger.
Running boards are for mall crawlers. I had White Knuckle sliders on my 07 FJ Cruiser. Heavy, 55 lbs each, but you could jack up the side of the truck on them.
I wouldn’t say just mall crawlers. I have side steps/nerf bars and really don’t go to the mall that often. Lol
I don’t take my truck to Moab but use it as it’s intended, as a truck. It’s my daily driver and it also hauls and goes off road quite a bit for hunting and fishing. I’ve never needed rock sliders but that’s awesome if you have them.
And you have none on your taco.
I'm more of a dirt road and wannabe road crawler, not truly offroad, but definate not a mall crawler.
Just got it. Other priorities right now. Just put tire/rims on it.
Just a FYI, if any of you people use a High Lift jack (tractor jack), they make a tube adapter for the lift point and you can lift your truck up by the sliders.
