Broken seal

Just noticed that this seal is broken with grease coming out. Im not much of a mechanic and don’t know a whole lot about trucks, how bad is this? And is it something that I could feasibly fix myself? Any info would be helpful

You would have to break the control arm loose from the spindle to change the boot. It isn't a lot to do but it can be a pain. The boot might have a clip holding it.

Welcome to the forum.
You can do the work yourself, but if you’re uncomfortable it may be worth getting a buddy with some experience to help or a reputable shop.
