Carrier Bearing or U-Joints?

Aside from my rear leafs squeaky over bumps. I have a squeak when power is applied to drive shaft. I was told my carrier bearing has a (Lot) of play. I have been told this should have some play, How much exactly?

---Also, how would you know the difference between a bad carrier bearing or U-Joint?

Is it worth just replacing both to save myself a break down from my drive shaft?

Regrease all slip yokes with any full synthetic grease and thin coat of neverseize !!!Check tranny fluid level also!

I would check into a polyurethane carrier bearing. Never will have to replace or worry about it again. Also grease front splined drive shaft. Don't be stingy either will keep it from binding... Jmo

Dont over grease them! Bc your blowing it even quicker by forcing more and more grease into it blowing the seals
