Charging docking station on my 2017 TRD Pro?

Has anyone figured out how to charge an iPhone on this. I had my buddies Samsung on there and it works fine but any iPhone I've tried does not charge with or without a case. Any info would be appreciated.

iPhones don't have wireless charging capabilities. There is an adapter you plug into your phone (6/6s only for now I believe) that will allow wireless charging

You would need to add a case or rear cover with inductive charging capability.

I have a 17 trd off road and bought a reciever that inserts inside my phone (galaxy s5). Doesn't affect the the size or case fit, but also doesn't seem to charge worth a ****.
