Question to all 3rd gen Tacoma owners. I have a 2017 trd sport with 20K miles and my battery just took a dump, so I think that’s all. Running good now with new battery but how does a my factory battery die in two years? This is my fourth Toyota and the newest I have owned. Never had a battery die that fast. Auto Zone blamed Trump for the tariffs towards China that batteries are American made now and this is the reason for bad batteries in new cars. Found there reason hard to believe but what do you guys think?

Toyota OEM batteries have been known to take a crap in 1-3 yrs. Lots of threads all over T4R, Tundra and Tacoma forums talking about it. Some people have got it covered and replaced under warranty.
