Dash gauge pointers

Yesterday I had to,disconnect my battery....when I reattached, my Taco was sluggish to,start, but finally did..I noticed the red pointers on my gauges were on during the day (lights were not on)...am I dreaming ? Ihave never noticed them on with lights off....or did I mess something up ?

Duh...I was reminded that I must have brushed the backlight dial level....had a big piece of humble pie !
