Oh yeah I love it up here have since I was a kid mom & dad used to take me my brother & sister backpacking into the sierras, both sides , the more picturesq is the western side (ca.) but the sheer,gnarly stark peaks are on the eastern side,, Mt Whitney, Whitney portal, some big ones loom over june lake loop, convict lake Yeah & the world famous Rubicon with trail head up in Tahoe about 45 mins from me...

LOVE RUBICON!!! I know I’ve been to June lake but I don’t remember exactly where it is, there’s a peak that looks over Pyramid that’s pretty fun to get to but some of it is on the Res,... Man, I’m a little jealous, there’s nothing very difficult around me. I’m sure you know about Reno4x4.com already? AWESOME group of guys and gals!!! They do pretty fun trips pretty often, been on some multiple day trips with them, it was a blast!!!

I was 30 minutes from Northstar, had a season pass there for 2 years, first year was Mt. Rose. I’m almost sure I finally hit every mountain around Lake Tahoe,... there’s lots of stickers in my truck. lol

Whatever it is you build, you better be damn sure it’ll out wheel a Jeep because there’s a fucton of them around there!!! lol
