Front mud flaps Tacoma 2014

Front mud flaps rub and hit with stones,potholes,speed bump etc what suggest,cut of flaps,trim or remove the flaps?

Most people remove them and some people cut them. There are aftermarket replacements but I don't remmeber the brand.

I took mine off mainly because I have seen other Tacos on the freeway and it looks dumb when the flaps are up against the body because of the wind force.

I took mine off the front, and it does have a better looking stance. I left the rears on to help keep some of the road debris off my exhaust tips. Husky Liner makes a lower profile and stiffer set of flaps for front and back.

I must be one of the lucky few, my truck didn't come with front mud flaps when purchased back in 2008 !! :thumbsup: :yes:

There's a couple of screws and plastic clips I do believe...that's it. Remove those and twist the flap a little and they come right off.

I trimmed mine, they were way too long! I like the look and protection, but they needed to be trimmed!

Yep those mud flaps on 13' and 14's are a joke. Busted one off in the first month owning the the truck.
