Hauling couches

I need to get a reclining sofa and reclining love-seat transported. I am checking the dimensions but has anyone else ever transported these large of couches in their Tacoma? I have a 2011 double cab short bed btw.
 
yep, sectional...........
6ft bed, but I had a 12" deep toolbox in the back so we are even......

Couch fit with tailgate down, and stuck out of the bed MAYBE an inch. I threw some tie downs over the top (stacked both halves of the couch), and 1 tie down across the back so that the couch was not able to move forwards or back.
