Hi All,
So this weekend I installed new clamshell n CV axle. Upon inspection of inner workings and cleaning I noticed that my truck has a Knuckle with ABS plug/sensor. Traced the wire up seeing that the line has been cut. I’m pretty sure my truck is not equipped with ABS fronts. Removed plug and saw that there is the ABS tooth ring In the knuckle assembly. I’m going to be doing a full bearing/ seal replacement and can I still do this job with the current knuckle I have using the extra spacer ring that goes on models w/o ABS. In my mind I don’t see why I would have to buy the abs ring but want to make sure this will be OK! Any knowledge or wisdom is appreciated .
