I need help picking a set up for my 2017 taco trd off road , and i was thinking about putting on A k and n filter and a magnaflow muffler

Look at a closed intake system and any muffler that you like. TRD is good if you just want sound and don't plan on doing anything else.

On my 2010, I have AFE intake (same as the TRD of the day) and TRD exhaust. But I have a TRD supercharger which takes advantage of the intake and exhaust.

The AFE offerings look good for the 3rd gen. Don't expect massive power increases because the stock stuff isn't really restrictive.

Stay away from any oil filter system, like k & n.

^^^^ Good advice. They can screw up your MAF sensor.

If you’re going that route I’d go AFE. You get what you pay for most of the time. Like @whippersnapper02 says, you gotta pay to play.

I’d go with aFe. You’re looking at spending $400 on a good CAI system.

This is what I was looking at when I first bought my truck. I had an aFe CAI in my Tundra and liked it. I ended up just putting an aFe Pro dryS filter in the OEM box of my 2017 OR
