I've had several for over 20 years, they stay in the garage and are as good today as the day I bought them. Valley of the Sun temps often reach into the high 110's during the summer, my garage probably gets within ten degrees of the daily high. I don't know how they would stand up to extended exposure to direct sun or freezing temps.

I've used the cheap ones from Harbor Freight for years. Admittedly, I don't beat the **** out of them. I use them to organize all my camping/overlanding gear inside my 3 totes. They're [allegedly] waterproof. Can't beat the price, they go on sale for $4 all the time.
