Hi folks! New to the group and I just put a deposit on a 2022 Army Green TRD Sport 2WD V6 Double Cab. The estimated MPG says 19-24... is it realistic to think I'll get in that range, or are they blowing smoke up my ???

Welcome to the group. I don't know what the gearing and tires are on the TRD Sport but my 2019 SR5 same 2wd 4door is approximately that good or possibly a little better on longer trips. I have seen 27 once or twice but usually on the range you stated.

Sweet! That's great to hear. Im currently driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that's getting 22-23mpg and was hoping to be able to get as good with my new taco.
Welcome scott, congrats on the new truck. As far as fuel mileage...i would think thats very realistic for a 2wd. I have a 2020 all stock sr5 4x4 with the v6, its gets 22-23 average doing 50-60 mph on the secondary highway roads here. I've not seen worse than 17 city. Its when you add big heavy tires, and lift kits to these trucks the fuel economy tanks.

Welcome Scott. I have a 2017 stock sport,3.6 L,, Ranges fro 19 to 21 ,depending on my foot (),,drove it to Florida last year ..got 24 highway… love this truck!!

Don’t lift it or add bigger tires. If only two wheel drive. If you want a Pre-runner type truck? Make sure you get a locking diff?
