Here's a great way to keep track of your 2005+ Toyota Tacoma maintenance information. For do it yourself oil changes as long as you keep a record (date/milage) and receipts (oil/filter, etc) your fine as far as the warrenty goes.

You can also keep a record and find out what has been done on your Toyota in regards to service/recall/maintenance info done at the dealership from day 1 of your vehicle in service that has been reported here:

I was able to find out a couple things I didn't know that had been done on mine. Like new clutch installed 3,000 miles before I bought it. Anything done at the dealership will be listed.
