Roll up bed cover???

That's not a roll up where it stays on the truck they have roll up covers that have a small box in the front of the bed which I have and extremely recommended and helps improve mpg!

Tonneaus don't improve mpgs. Bottom line...its a myth. At Hwy speeds an empty bed with the tailgate up creates a vortex of wind which in turn helps air pass over the truck with ease (in the fall you'll notice any leaves in the bed will swirl around and never fly out, that's the vortex or air). Dropping the tailgate or adding a tonneau eliminates the vortex of air, thus adding the drag.

Yup. And with the tailgate down, when the air hits the bed it will put a downward force in the rear causing the front to lift up.

I've got a lo-pro soft tonneau I put on in the spring and summer. I love it, keeps the bed dry and the velcro works great. It's much easier to use than a snap tonneau.
