Thank you to all my brothers of other colors
VF-51 Screaming Eagles. Airdales, the ELITE of the fleet!
My former office
Crypto Electronics Tech. USAF 1975-1979. I got to work in a Top Secret comm center with no windows!
I spent 22 years in the Air Force working on F-4s, F-16s, and EF-111s, but my favorite aircraft is the F-14 Tomcat.
When/where on the EFs? I was at Mt Home and Upper Heyford with them. Avionics-comm/Nav/ECM.
Cannon AFB New Mexico (the armpit of America), 1996-1998.
Mt Home is upper left US. That’s the armpit. Cannon is more lower center. You do the anatomy.
Never metcha but banged the same wrenches.
Salute to ya my swing wing pig brother.
I stand corrected. Cannon must be the rotten crotch then. Swing em high and spread em low.
At least we're both in a better place now.
Wrong way. Spread em high and swing em low. Swing wing Edsel. Gotta love it ...can’t sell it for scrap.
But it DID have the first air combat kill in Desert Storm I. Ya. Confirmed. Unarmed. Have ya tell that tale another time. All I can say is 50 feet off the deck at Mach 2 works.
To all of y’all that have served. Thank you from my family. I can’t thank y’all enough.
