Does anyone know of any that mount closer to the body than the OE equipment ones? I drag my left leg across it every time I get in and get road salt and mud all over my leg. I really only need them for the kids getting into the back seat so if I can’t find any full length ones, then I will just get smaller steps for just the back doors. Thanks in advance!
 
The predator style ones work well for kids and only the step part sticks out some so you don’t have an entire rail across the bottom to rub on.
Otherwise look at rock sliders they don’t stick out much.
 
View attachment 23792 I got these off eBay. They are great because like OR17TRD said the step is the only thing that sticks out and hangs down. I didn’t want running boards because of hitting my leg and getting dirt on my pant leg. They aren’t a big name brand, but they are sturdy and the price was right.
