I definitely want some side bars for my Tacoma. I can't install them my self because of shoulder surgery and wont be able to for probably 3-4 months according to my surgeon. Yankee Custom truck here sells Steel-craft. He recommend the 3" for the Sr with access cab I have. I would like to know why all the side bars and nerf bars don't attach directly to the frame, but instal behind where the rocker pads are?They said that where they install them all. I'm looking at the stainless steel set. I just can't fine where they say what weight they can handle.I weigh about 270 or little less working on losing some. However I read one review said they were 250# one other said it was 300 # anyone have any idea what it would be? Also anyone use the Weather Tech mudflats, either screw in hunting or the lock system which needs no drilling. Any help appreciated.
