hey evryone. I need some advice Im looking forward to get new set of rims for tacoma 4x4 2017 , rims 17 . what is the boggest width can go . and also for rims 18 . ANybody . thanks

Depends on:
Stock or lifted?
Sport, SR5, off-road?
tire size and offset?
Biggest Stock tires & wheels are either 265/70/16 16x7"+25 offset wheel or 265/65/17 17x7" +25 offset wheel
You can put 265/60/18 on 18x7" +25 offset wheels.
If you want wider/taller tires you need a 2-3" lift and wheels with a 0 offset or a -6 offset depending on the width of the tire.

I have a 2017 TRD OR DCLB with a 3" lift and run 285/75/16 BFG KO2 on 16x8.5" -6 offset MB TKO wheels with no rubbing no trimming.
Hope that helps
Good luck.

Again... stock tire is 265=10.4" wide on 16x7" or 17x7" with +25 offset wheels if you go with a wider wheel you will probably need to get a lower offset or a wheel spacer. 9" wheel would need to have a +12 offset at minimum to have equal back spacing as the stock 8" wide wheel with a +25 offset or you may have rubbing. If you are staying with the 265=10.4" tire a 8" wide wheel is wide enough lots of people run 7" wheels so they can air down to 20-25psi without blowing the bead off. Depend on if you are wheeling it and need to air down for gained traction or just going for looks. 265/60r18 tire on a 18x8" wheel would be the same as the stock 265/65r17 tire on a 17x8" wheel same as a 265/70r16 tire on a 16x8" wheel. They are all the same just depends on how much tire side wall vs. wheel you want and the look you're going for. If you go 9" wide on the wheel and the tire is not wider like a 285=11.2" or wider the bead runs the risk of blowing off if you air down at all.
General rule 1.3" tire width=1"wheel width. Go from there.
My recommendation 18x8" wheel for 265/60/18
Hope that helps.
Good luck.
