Thud after stopping

I just recently noticed there's a thud after I break and hold. Any ideas on what it could be?

Axle wrap. They all pretty much do it.

So it is common in tacoma? Mine is a 2015

Yes since 2005. It will also bump at a stop when you have the AC on.

When it kicks on the engine will idle up a tad to compensate for the load. This causes a slight increase of torque torque in the driveline and since the rear suspension is loosey goosey, you get the bump. This is for autos only.

From what I've heard in the tacomas the axle wrap is more of a problem with the autos in general

I haven't had any issues with my 14, but I've always assumed that's because of mostly street driving

Deferentially an auto problem because the manual has a clutch to disconnect the drivetrain from the engine.

Mine does that at certain fuel levels. I just thought it was fuel above the baffle sloshing forward
