TPMS with aftermarket wheels

Can't get my tpms light to go off after new wheels with tpms was installed. Any suggestions? Tried the reset button numerous times.

Might sound kinda stupid but did u check tire pressure ?

They came complete and i put them on lol.

I thought I read somewhere where it said they would automatically communicate with the truck but don't seem so. I knew someone here would know

You’re positive the TPMS was on them?

They came with the package they better be in there lol. But I've had a 1st bad experience with them already

From what I’ve ever heard, they have to be connected to the truck electronically once they are installed. They will say that hey will work, but the installer has to use a computer to sync them. You might need to take them back to whoever installed them and have them connect them for you.

Take them to the dealer or local tire shop and ask nice if they can sync them.

Not only does a third gen come with a snorkel, but there is a button you press on the drivers side kick panel. It re-learns the tpms sensors.

I hope they came with wireless ones ,cuz you need a lot of extra wire on the hard wired ones so it does. not wrap around the axle ? Just sayin'.

If you reuse the tps in another set of rims do you have to make sure it goes back on the same axle ? And. if you rotate does it just relearn the wheel ?
