I’m going to update my factory system to a new JVC stereo with a bigger screen and back up camera on stereo screen instead of being in rear view mirror. It will have the steering wheel controls hooked up and Bluetooth also. Any advice on this and cost? This is on a 2011 TRD Sport .

I just bought an Alpine through Crutchfield for $599 and then got hammered another $200 for the Maestro Datalink unit and cables. Regardless of if price of your head unit, it’s my feeling that your required to buy the datalink in order to get your steering wheel controls and backup camera to work.
