Would like to get myself a Xmas present this year in the form of a truck upgrade. I have a 06 manual Tacoma double cab. I’m a newbie and would like to begin to do add ons. I have a step bar and she is raised.

Where do I begin? Headlights? Bed cover? Tinted windows? Interior changes?

    Help me get started. Thanks.

Don't get those stupid blingy Spyder/carid/tacomabeast headlights. They leak, fog, have worse output than stock, and the clear coat peels from the inside. Just run stock housings with a quality HALOGEN bulb.

One of my first purchases for any vehicle is husky or weather tech floor liners.

Bed mat, I like the Bakflip MX4 for a Tonneau cover,
Upgrade the sound system with the kicker speakers, window tint is nice.
    Debadge looks clean IMO.

Welcome to the forum. Get a bed mat for sure. Tonneau covers are really good add ons. It’s according to what you want to spend. A decent one can be bought for around $200.

  16. Definitely not the Spyder headlights, learn from my mistake (cheap Spyder headlights available, PM me!). De-chrome where you can, black OEM wheels with good tires, TRD shift knob (well it says TRD on it!), remote starter. All this is personal preference of course.

  17. I got OEMassive sequential headlights and have had no problems with them. Black housing, no chrome. I also have the spyder taillights with no problems.
