What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Mastercraft x2. About 5500 lbs with it full. It actually pulls well. It was a little unstable and hitting the bump stops without the bags. Much better with them. With the daystar cups they make a slapping sound that’s driving me crazy, so I’m putting cabinet rubber stoppers with 3m tape on the bottom to see if that shuts them up.

I installed the heaviest Dakar pack they offered and empty it was 4.75 inches of lift. Throw on my Leer 180 cap and all the tools , recovery gear, fishing gear sits about 3.25 inches of lift. I got the heaviest load front springs for a winch and bumper. I ended up getting a Fab Fours Rear premium . Might match the front with a FF premium. Or the centerline winch bumper that won’t offer any additional offset corner protection.

Do both sides at once to save time and reduce mistakes.

Use really long pliers to bend the sheet metal.

Ratcheting wrenches would have saved hours.

Other than that, take your time and enjoy the project.
Yeah seconded about the ratcheting wrenches. Makes it way easier to take off those top 3 nuts.
