What size wheel spacers?

Just replaced the tires on my sons 2006 Tacoma and they're rubbing on the upper control arms. Replaced the old Yokohama Geolanders, with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S
285 /70 R17. Same size that was on there before, but can see where it's rubbing now.

Does anyone know what spacers would be best to give a little more room, without being too far and putting too much strain.

Thanks dude, just called and ordered some 1" BORA spacers.

I’ve had Spidertrax 1 1/4 inch then switched to BORA because I went to a 2 inch. They are both high quality and hub centric. Just use the red thread locker on the lugs and retorque them every once in awhile and they should last forever.

Wheel spacers are just a bad idea in general. I knew a guy who put them on his dodge ram and had to replace his ball joints at a higher frequency than his engine oil.. mind you he probably has something ridiculous like 3" +
