Hi All -

We just bought a 2012 with stock 265 70 16

We are buying a Toytec TTBOSSTAC-2005 - Toytec Boss Suspension System, light racing adjustable upper control arms and will be upgrading the wheels. Thinking of going to a 285 70 17 , what suggestions do you have for wheels and tires.

Pic's welcome......

Thanks

Congrats on getting a taco. Welcome to the forum.
Black wheels, there are lots of brands mostly depends on budget and personal preference. Make sure they have a 0 or a -6 offset for the 285/70 tire.
Personally I would get a 16x8” or 16x8.5” -6 offset wheel and put BFG KO2’s for A/T or KM2 for mud size 285/75/16.
I’ve got 285/75/16 BFG KO2 on 16x8.5” MB TKO -6 offset. 89D266B1-56EE-4637-9314-8831E1CEF4AB.jpeg

Any reason to stay with a 16" instead of switching over to 17"
