Why are my mpg so bad?

I have a 2017 v6 off road long bed. I raised it 2.5 inches and have bigger tires. View attachment 12563View attachment 12564
You're going off of a 2.1 mile trip. I get 6.4mpg on a 2.1 mile trip. Youre probably getting 15mpg in town and 19 on the hwy. I can make mine say 40 mpg for a 4 mile trip if I start at the top of the mountain and coast down. It's all relative. Set your trip to zero next time you fill up then when you fill up the next time divide how many miles the trip says by how many gallons you put in. That will be accurate.

OR17TRD said it right. The trip summary has its uses but for accuracy it’s better to divide it out.

I have a 2017 v6 TRD and this is how my mileage looks the first pick I set it on cruise control at 65mph and the second pic is me keeping it at 70mph IMG_20170919_054251373.jpgIMG_20170920_053406026.jpg

I'm getting an avg of 17.8 but only have driven my truck 350 miles since Ive bought it. Those are all highway miles with some hills driving around 70-75mph. I assume those are normal.
