Working on the Tacoma.

The Tacoma is easy to work on for maintenance and repairs.

Yesterday I spent 2+ hours replacing a shattered fog light on my wife's 2019 Honda CRV. OMG, talk about a PITA.

Just to gain access to the right fog light. The following had to be removed or partially removed.
Bumper bezel around the fog light
Right front wheel
Fender liner
Engine splash shield
Washer fluid bottle
numerous body push pins and multiple small bolts/screws

The fog light came out with just 3 small phillips screws. Once I got access the actual replacement was just a couple minutes.

One the positive side. I did find the oil filter and I understand why it takes Honda 1 hour to change oil in this thing, multiple underbody panels/shields need to be removed to gain access.

IMHO, all in all. Honda makes a good ride, but its horrible for maintenance/repair.

I won't carp about doing work on my '06 Tacoma. In comparison, working on the Tacoma is enjoyable.
