Roll bar/tonneau combo

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I bought a 2013 Tacoma Sport with a 5 ft. bed. I'm looking to get both a roll bar and a tonneau cover but I don't know if that's possible. Does anyone know of a roll bar and tonneau cover that work together and looks good? Can you make any recommendations for either/both? I'd prefer a tonneau cover that is sturdy, prefer the folding kind to the roll-up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the family Bob!

I havent seen a roll bar tonneau cover since the 70s. There are imitation roll bars that aren't functional and IMO look like crap.

You may have to have the cover custom modified.

Thank you so much for your reply, Scott. I was interested because I did see one example of this on a Tacoma and it looked clean and fit well. But what you said makes sense. It may have been custom since that one Tacoma was the only one I have seen like it.

Thanks again.

If you're talking about using a soft cover you may be able to find an upholstery shop who sould cut and sew up the holes for the rollbar.

Check tacomworld.com

Voodoo, kpvoodoo, (something like that) made some crossbars that worked WITH a trifold cover. Atleast that's how I remember it...

Now, will the steel lightbar/faux rollbar made by that other guy on TW bolt up?
I don't know.

Tacomaworld will be much more help due to the vendor section.

Thank you, Bojangles. I'll have to search for the Voodoo site....but Tacomaworld is a great idea. Thanks.
