Well I think I got it to the point where there is still some protectant on there but not enough to drip in the rain, so that is much better. What is the comsistency of the products you mentioned, are they liquid or a little more thick?

Well the learning curve continues with this Tacoma, about 10 days ago I thought I should put some dressing on the Tonneu cover to protect it from the UV rays so I used some Jay Leno tire and trim dressing and it looked great, I put it on (most likely a little too much) but I figured the hot sun...

I ended up leaving the side steps on, they work well for whenever the "boss" rides with me lol! And I kind of use the one on my driver side to help squeeze in there, I have to turn my body way to the right, put my right leg under the steering wheel and slide in, but I now put my left foot on the...

I asked the guy who made the videos on this and he said that they come with plastic inserts if there is no running board so I'll have to get some of them, I don't think it would be good to leave exposed holes there. Thanks...

I haven't done anything yet. And yes that is the video that shows what I have.

Go to Youtube and punch in "I removed Tacoma's Predator side steps" and you'll see exactly what they are. Thank you!

Here's another question for you guys, my truck came with the "step" type running boards on the side, so you can step up if needed. I don't need it, and quite frankly like the looks of the trucks without it on. If I have that removed, must I do anything to the holes that are drilled into the metal?

I'm not sure but he probably did, he sprayed the heck out of everything and I did see him shoot some in that little area on the tailgate.I'm sure he hit everything he needed and some places he shouldn't have like the windows lol!

Yeah just Google "Fluid film customer service number" and it comes up. Talked to John, really nice guy who seemed to know his stuff. When I was sitting in the waiting area watching through the glass this guy spraying I could see fine mist going up. I asked him when I was done if I should wash...

Went to the Toyota dealer today and they ran it through their car wash and it seems like it took the FF off of the windows and body but still looks the same underneath as they have no underside spray. Also called FF today and talked to a guy there, said it was fine to do that, said just don't...

No, not one drop. Well it's on there now, better than nothing and better than what Toyota put on, so I'll have to live with it now. 35 years ago I only had Ford do rustproofing on the old Bronco and people still are amazed at how well the frame has held up, and I'm sure being garage kept...

I don't know I'll have to ask them. I also was told by others that this will drip for a few days, be careful of parking it in the garage. There's not one drop that dripped, it's in my double car garage that dries firewood like a kiln, it was 95 degrees in there today so I'm assuming that is...

Even if I go to the one at the Toyota dealer that has no underside water, just those spin type soft brushes for the sides and top? This guy told me that the metal "sucks up" the Fluid Film and it would be dry in a day or two, is that wrong too?
