Just my opinion, but I have been using Mobil1 since the 1970's in everything I have driven. Never a problem.

Engine and cabin filters. I always buy mine thru Amazon.

My Tacoma was the first new vehicle that i bought that came with synthetic. But I've always changed my new vehicles oil at about 300 miles and then put in synthetic. Mobil 1 since the 1970's.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, but my 2011 and my 2016 were both Sports with scoops. Never noticed the scoop while driving. I am 6'4" so that might have something to do with it.
