Mine is a daily driver. I frequent dirt roads and hills but this truck isn’t an off road rig. I’m looking to order a Tacoma. I’m wondering if I should start with the SR5 and add what I want or but a TRD that has extras built in.

Do you like the 3.5? Do you have auto or manual trans?

Well it’s at the stealership now... I’m supposed to pick it up tomorrow. I’m just concerned that they will want me to sign a waiver covering their ass against frame replacement Incase the undercoating doesn’t hold.

Has anyone had the dealership undercoat their frames as a recall? I have a 2015 and it’s at the dealership having it done. I’m curious to if there is any type of waiver they want me to sign. Thx D

I have noticed a fair amount of surface rust at the joints. The motor pitied up pretty good. I had planned to do a once over under the truck but I’ll see what the dealer does

I hope so too! They said they would coat it with a corrosion resistant ceramic? If I recall.

I got a letter from Toyota last week about my 2015 Tacoma. I contacted the dealer and they will get back to me. I guess they are going to treat the frame with a CRC treatment to prevent rot.... anyone else get this letter? D

Dealership wants $2850.

I have a ‘15 TRD 6 spd. At idle the throw out bearing ( I suspect ) makes a ton of noise!!! I’m ready to do a clutch replacement in order to replace the throw-out bearing. The stealership wants a LOT of money to do it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I leased my tacoma because I couldn’t swing the payments. But at the end of the lease, I couldn’t replace it for the buyout price.... so I bought it. No regrets.
