Sometimes the check engine light is off base on some things. First thing I would do is clean the MAF sensor then clear the engine light by unhooking the battery for about 10 minutes. Then see if the light comes back on.

What these guys are telling you is no BS! I put 3 water pumps in my 1999 Tacoma! The 4th one had a lifetime guarantee and NEVER wore out. The same for an alternator, 1st one went bad, I put in a Life time one from a local auto parts store, never any more problems!

It's an automatic. Looks like I have a 3:42. This makes a difference in performance/gas mileage if one go's to larger tires. I was hoping it was going to be a 4:10/4:11. Thanks guys.
