Yeah, the 17's were included in the recall too, which I had done. The slow filling issue was around before the pump replacement and after. So when I stick a hose *gently* through the filler neck, it does seem to push open a check valve or flapper about 18" in. So I'm guessing that park is okay...

Hi Irb, My 2017 Taco is also the first Toyota I've owned and also came from mostly Hondas. Biggest difference I noticed right away is fuel mileage. I only get 17mpg on average. The off-road knobby tires probably don't help. Hopefully your '21 gets better?

Now I wish I had the dealer replace that when they replaced the fuel pump... for the recall... as it required dropping the tank. But good to know. This is a job I'd rather not DIY. Thanks again B-Man.

I'll take a look underneath the truck this weekend to see if I can identify any culprits like a vent valve. Just learned that fuel pump nozzles stop the flow of gas when they detect the absence of a vacuum, so it seems likely that it would be a venting issue. Thanks.
