it was definitely NOT easy for me to legally cross into Canada from Vermont just last year
What do expect, when you aimlessly wander around without a real good reason, and passport, anyone would be suspicious. At any rate you could of been fined, and deported back to the states. I'd assume the next time you cross, they now have you on record in their data bank to watch you even closer.
I ran into one of my old neighbors yesterday while doing a bank errand. He recently retired from homeland security. They are currently keeping a record of suspicious out of state vehicle registrations that seek no purpose of being in distant states over multiple times. My guess you could already be on their radar.
I don't drink corona, or that other modelo mexican chit beer. Only sam adams in my home.
Don't bs yourself, we have some serious bad actors whether lone wolfs, or sleeper cells in our country that are being watched by our homeland security people, fbi, and other state/local law enforcement . It's got nothing to do with being free to travel....it's a need to know what one is up to in their travels, and where without a good reason, which raises a red flag.
Congrats your now in their data bank. As long as your no threat, you have nothing to worry about. As one says...your free to go, but were watching you.
